That’s what i hate about our chairman. He’s such a results based chairman and never sees the bigger picture. Spurs lose our 1st 3 games, he probably go out and buy 1 or 2 players. No doubt they would probably be desperate cheapo deadline day options, but he would buy because under pressure. Us starting off brilliantly gives Levy that excuse to balance the books and make do with what we have. If he had any ambition to help this brilliant manager, he would be going all out for a forward and CB to help him. Guarantee Levy does absolutely fuck all on deadline day. There will be a feeble 25 million bid for Brennan Johnson ( vintage Levy) which will clearly get rejected. I’m not sure how any other Spurs fan can see it going any other way

Agree on Eze. Not City bound but will be snapped-up I think, unless he is using interest to better his contract and is happy to stick.
Palace are a decent club and he is now the main man. It might be enough for him, but he would be a good addition for us.

Gold said it is a hard deal to do but I reckon we will push for it but drag it out the whole week. We regularly like to sign someone on the last day of the window to make it look like we've been trying really hard.
Forest are already trying to spend the Johnson money, which means it will almost certainly go through.
We need HG players. Right now our only good HG player is Maddison, the rest are bad and are sticking around because of quotas.
We already signed Veliz, nothing wrong with going for a more established player as well. There needs to be a balance.

if you are Tosin or any of those players on ice, it's not exactly going to make you feel like a priority for the club and even if you want to come, you will want to feel like a priority for any club you join...
