Hard to know how much stock to put into it, but if it is him hopefully he actually wants to be here.

Amazing its taken so long to get a 15m bit part player from Fulham with Monaco our only competition.
He’s been woefully mismanaged. Not that it would’ve made him a world beater or anything, but at least he’d have been more appealing to clubs.Who in their right mind would want him?
He's 24 years old and has played a whopping 27 games of football.
Just let that sink in.
Not long now, where does everyone go on this site when the TW closes?
Yeah I think this is the case. Will wait till January. Then probably go for Toney if Richarlison doesn't improve. We're not signing a striker. Johnson will be the only in I would imagine, and we'll scrape a few shitters out the door on loan. I suspect Levy wants a proper run for Richarlison, and I don't blame him after splashing £60m on him. If by January he's proven he's no good then we'll look to sign someone.
Whilst I agree with the patience rhetoric wholeheartedly, and I like Deki as a player, the boy is no Robben. I mean, not even a little bit, such comparisons would do him more harm than goodAnd how would you explain that Pape's goal against Utd came after Deki cut on the right side? Aren't Roben had the same style and coaches did find the way to be very useful. This season he started action for the first goal vs United and scored last game, works hard with tracking back. Like the whole team, he deserves a little patients.

100% Levy is going to leave Ange short.
And then Ange is in a difficult situation. He can knuckle down and try to extract 110% from what he has. Which will make Levy even more complacent. Or he can hang certain players out to dry to prove they're donkies. Which will probably have Levy looking for a replacement.....coach.
We're very likely buying Johnson. That’s what i hate about our chairman. He’s such a results based chairman and never sees the bigger picture. Spurs lose our 1st 3 games, he probably go out and buy 1 or 2 players. No doubt they would probably be desperate cheapo deadline day options, but he would buy because under pressure. Us starting off brilliantly gives Levy that excuse to balance the books and make do with what we have. If he had any ambition to help this brilliant manager, he would be going all out for a forward and CB to help him. Guarantee Levy does absolutely fuck all on deadline day. There will be a feeble 25 million bid for Brennan Johnson ( vintage Levy) which will clearly get rejected. I’m not sure how any other Spurs fan can see it going any other way
Whether or not we go for Bennanjohnson (alloneword!)
I'd still like to see us go for Eze at Palace...
If only so we can do the 'Big Daddy's chant!!!
Eeeeeze-Eeeeeze-Eeeeze!!
Postecoglou has not given too much away and has certainly not voiced frustration since he has been here, Kane-situation aside.
Fail to bring in a couple of players by the end of the window and I think that might change. It should.
Rumours, with the window but days from closing is not good enough.
Happy to state for the record, I will bemoan incompetence if we fail to secure a striker or at the very least a proven goalscoring wide man. Some things are excusable. Some matters are beyond defence.
Whilst Bayern Munich are probably waiting to see if their new arrival makes a difference where it matters and not in pilfering league games against infinitely lesser teans, I am still waiting to see if our so called striker can make any difference, effort aside, in any sense whatsoever.
Scandalous on our part if this window closes with our playing squad as it stands.
i think the opposite, think we will overspend on him like rich in a panicI don’t think we are mate. I think we will make a lowball bid which we all know gets rejected.

Forest are already trying to spend the Johnson money, which means it will almost certainly go through.I don’t think we are mate. I think we will make a lowball bid which we all know gets rejected.
We need HG players. Right now our only good HG player is Maddison, the rest are bad and are sticking around because of quotas.Poste saying you don't need 50-100 million to find great players, and talking about Mitoma as an example, so I'm disappointed that our world-wide search for talent has ended on Brennan Johnson.
Surely there are better options out there? And if not (this late in the window), maybe it's better to keep our powder dry. Give Gil the 2nd RW spot.
