For me, he didnt rotate ENOUGH. If only Dier had been there we would have won this game and no one would even be talking right now. He was the missing formula of the Spurs rejects.

Nine changes is insane, and until it was laid out in front of me I almost forgot how poor the depth of the squad was, after being mesmerised by the first team for the last few weeks

Get what he means about testing the depth and finding out about his players given how poorly organised the pre-season was (let’s go travel to Singapore during the monsoon season, what could go wrong?!) surely there’s a better way to do it then shipping the majority of the first team in a competitive competition
Your answering your own questions.
You forgot how poor our squad was , maybe Levy had as well. He's hardly Pep is he ?
Yes there was a better way , more games against high level competition , such as the top half of the PL had during pre-season against each other in North America .
As you said , we had a diabolical tour that included playing West Ham reserves , part time sailors from Singapore and eerm ...nobody else !
Oh yeah the charity game against another poor opponent. Nowhere near enough games or the right quality of opposition to see how the massively bloated squad fringe players performed under pressure.

Such a shame.

The vibe was through the roof.

Then this EMP just flattened it.

Important he goes bonkers against Burnley and we flatten THEM and get that buzz back, immediately.

We'll need it, once this window ends and we only have Johnson (like, huh??) to show, out of the Kane sale (Despicable Bald Cunt trousering the rest).

Look, I can see why he played the team he did but rotating 9 players is too much. We were playing against a pretty strong side at their place and I would have liked to see a team that looked like we were actually trying to win.

In the greater scheme of what he is trying to achieve I think we will look back on Ange's team tonight as a mere speedbump. That said, I think he erred in the selection of the team for this game. I just hope he takes the FA Cup more seriously.

I said I didn't particularly like him as a person but liked what he was doing with our team. Now I'm not so sure. I like him even less for his disrespect to the cup and fans and even less for trying to justify it. Using a cup to assess players is ok but not 9 of them at once.
Then the Scarlett sub and Maddison at 80 minutes ?

I went along with it and accepted the claims he was brilliant. Yeah right .!

Right I've watched the post match interview, now clear to me ange barely gave a fuck about this competition. Good in one sense in that it made me realise it want incompetence eaxctly, just that he genuinely is not on the same wavelength as us fans who have sat with this team for 13 years not winning shit. Might make seeing the fan reaction for him to realise that even the league cup is super important to us. Prem wise he knows what its all about and is fully aware thats what he will be defined on this season. But, given he has not had the burden of being a spurs fan for however many years/first time managing in England, I think his completely missed how important this competition is. His viewpoint is this was one of those opportunities to get to see the rest of his squad have a go - basically an more competitive pre-season game for him to assess his players. For us this was huge. I really don't think foreign managers give a fuck about it until they have been here for a while
Bud, the fans really mean nothing mate. He will have come into the job with clear goals from Levy. And I very much doubt he's going to change his priorities because of fans.

Why don’t you like him as a person?

Do you think Fulham don't prioritise the league? I promise you they do, and have no illusions about winning the Carabao cup, and the still didn't make 9 changes.
