He's already proven himself playing men's football, dropping him into the U21s will give him no benefit.
It's not risky at all. Saves Levy from the riak of paying a decent fee for Johnson when he can't feel he's won the transfer. Selling Harry Kane and replacing him with a free transfer, a loan with no option and a kid club signing. This cannot bd the be all and end all for us or it's a joke that will make us cry.
Like Fofana and many others, certain injuries recur.
Hope I'm wrong but this has risk all over it..

3 reasons why Ansu Fati is vital for Barcelona's success in 2023
3 reasons why Ansu Fati is vital for Barcelona's success in 2023: Barcelona's young prodigy, Ansu Fati, experienced a challenging season marked by injuries and a dip in form in 2022.www.sportskeeda.com
Fati experienced a challenging season marked by injuries and a dip in form in 2022. Despite being fit in the latter half of the campaign, playing time was scarce underBarcelona coach. Consequently, rumors circulated that the La Masia graduate might be leaving this summer. However, the 20-year-old has firmly dismissed these speculations, expressing his commitment to succeeding with the Blaugrana. Fati closed the previous season on a high note, netting several goals in the final few fixtures - and finished with ten goals and four assists to his name in the last season,
Plays anywhere across front line - often off left wing, can play right wing as well
If those are the two options then we're fucking another promising youngster's career. It's certainly better than him doing fuck all with the first team. Unless we simply loan him out in January.
More than one of our players that will leave played last night.
If those are the two options then we're fucking another promising youngster's career.
Mixed bag this summer
Maddison: club identified a critical but weak area of the team, signed him good and early, no messing about and got him for what looks like a steal.
Vicario: another weak area of the team identified and addressed early. Still not convinced that Raya wasn't the better option, time will tell.
Micky VDV. Another weak area of the team. Every man and his dog knew we needed 2 centre backs yet we've only signed one. Signed a mere 3 days before the 1st game of the season. Absolutely disgraceful that the coach and team were put in that position. Easy to overlook this now due to our recent results and how well VDV has taken to things but a completely unnecessary and avoidable risk.
2nd centre back. Still pending with 48 hours to go.
Replacement striker for kane. MIA. Kane left 2 weeks ago and the club knew it was a very definite possibility since June and still had nothing lined up or nothing done in the last 2 weeks.

Gallagher starts every game
Fati could easily just be Spanish Frazier Campbell in this scenario. 15 years on and the exact same thing being repeated.
Bar getting his fitness levels in order I tend to agree. He's already proven himself playing men's football, dropping him into the U21s will give him no benefit.
Seems like Fati is getting done. If he's as good as people say he is I don't care if it's a simple loan. He can make the difference for us now and we see where we are next summer. Maybe he has a great season and wants to stay. Barca are broke, it will not be difficult to agree a deal with them. Our attack desperately needs an upgrade.
I'd be amazed if we also got Johnson through the door.
Also bizarre that there are no CB links. You would have thought the Sanchez horror show might have accelerated things.
1) Fati + Johnson + CB = 9/10 window
2) Fati/Johnson + CB = 7/10 window
3) Fati/Johnson = 5/10 window
It's wasting a year of his development, you can't be serious. How on earth is him training with the first team but playing football fucking another promising youngster's career?![]()
I have edited my post to "at least one."Who?
I hope you are right but can't see many of them going now.
Played 5 games as a CF last season.
Scored his goals from the LW though.
Played 51 games across all comps since recovering from his injury issues.
10 goals and 4 assists in his recovery year.
20 years old.
Wasn't 48 hours before the deadline though.Emerson Royal started for Barcelona 48 hours before he signed for Spurs.
Happens all the time.
