think johnson will def come in

romano seems to think so

praying we dont get kelly

would love kotchap

as for gallhager, i would prefer eze and i would be happy with that

2 homegrowns in and a defender who can actually fight romero and vdv for a place

Seems the plan hasn't changed one iota over the past month since Ange first mentioned it.

Get one versatile attacker in, not a direct Kane replacement.

Focus on shifting the deadwood, Ange doesnt want them hanging around the training ground.

IF we can shift enough of them, bring in replacements to those currently making the squad/bench.

some transfer deadline day prep...

before you blow your 'he's shite' trumpet about any potential signings, take heed in the fact that your posts may be repeated:

Underwhelming if true .
Not particularly rated by their fans .
Minor improvement.

Every single one of my many Italian friends, most of whom are Juve fans, have told me he's one of the worst CM they can remember Juve playing.

He's slow, can't pass, can't score. He gives so many balls away they've lost count seasons ago already.

All said he's a terrible signing and they never expected a club like Spurs to sign him. Palace, Villa, even Newcastle...okay. But not Spurs. Now they're buzzing and saying Fabio is a hero.

Not as good as Hoijberg.....

On a par with Winks ....

Thoroughly underwhelmed.

not a much better player than Hojbjerg. They are at the same level.

We are now down to signing bench warmers from a struggling team in a geriatric league?

a low IQ player who makes foolish decisions and commits stupid fouls

pretty desperate signing, in my opinion

god he looks terrible he can’t pass long or short, can’t tackle and has no pace. We’d get done on the counter with him and he’ll be a red card waiting to happen. This is all in sierra a which is much slower than PL. God knows if he will turn out any good but surely there was no need to buy a CM of his “style”. We should have kept the money used for lampety in the summer or bis. Shocking decision!

He was Championship player of the year when they went up at 20, and had a very solid first season in the PL while they were a side of strangers thrown together.

Plus the £50m will be amortised over a long contract and his wages will probably be pretty reasonable. It's not a crazy deal financially.
Only time will tell.

£50m is a lot of money need to be spent on a good player to make immediate impact on the starting XI just like Maddy and Micky VDV are doing.

We were told Gill at £30m is the future Messi.

Is £50m Johnson high risk? He is a prospect, he is not a striker, he hasn't set the world on fire at 22
Well, prices don't appear to be falling and we don't really have any non homegrown slots left this year. 7 non-penalty goals and 3 assists is a pretty good return and with better players might turn into 10 and 5, which would be good. Supposedly a good kid with a former professional for a father so room to believe he wants to improve after this move. Must be in the top 40 outfield homegrown players, and most of those are are other Big 6 sides, Newcastle, abroad, or even more expensive. Maybe more low ceiling than high risk?

Half Baked Boo GIF
This is actually worrying me🤣🤣
Easily will be the most underwhelming signing in the history of Tottenham.

Matt1882 Matt1882 you think its alright for a player to fuck his club over by getting banned and then while banned on full wage pimp himself out trying to get to a better club?
How is he pimping himself out?
What has he actually done? He was asked some questions, which he answered.
No different to Kane when asked about leaving us.

As for getting himself banned, he has a problem. He's probably not alone, he just got caught. Compare that to say Defoe at West Ham, who purposely got himself sent off about 3 times because they wouldn't sell him. Or Gallas at Woolwich who said he'd score an own goal if they picked him. Those kinds of things are far worse.
