Because of the deal we got from H’s sale to BM, we got a huge amount up front. We can outplay Brentford even if it slightly less money. For instance, we agree 39m plus add ons but pay them half now

if he really is keen to run his contract down we shouldn't include him in the squad. Not a detriment of moving forward. Seems a false economy... a few more places higher up the prem and CL qualification are worth way more than his wages alone.
