Have we got a free agent lined up for when Sanchez goes.
wont be Ramos, he has gone back to Sevilla.
not seen any names mentioned as yet. Bit of a gamble with Phillips but hope he can do well.
Bet Ben Davies isn’t looking forward to bring in a high line.

so after all that the 'mercenaries' like ndombele agreed to move so he can play yet ex club captains who were part of the 'leadership group' preferred to not play and pick up wages.

Squad numbers look so much better next year with Winks, Sanchez, Moura, Ndombele, Lloris, Dier, Forster, Tanganga, Perisic, White gone. Hopefully Spence, Reguilon, and Rodon all impress on loan.

Including Kane, if all those players are gone, it’s almost £1.2m/week in wages cleared off the books. I’d also be backing departures for Hojbjerg (100k), GLC (75k), Davies (80k), Sessegnon (60k).

Maddison is likely being paid quite well, probably north of 150k/week but I’d doubt any of other signings got huge contracts.

While we could have definitely been better this summer, I understood the constraints of squad size, homegrown issues, and it being Ange’s first window. We’re setting up nicely to be able to be really aggressive in January and next summer. I’m going to be livid when Levy inevitably fucks it up.
Yeah, Levy always stops just before it gets really good. If by some miracle he really goes for it in Jan, or just happens to land another super talent for peanuts, we would go from a seriously exciting team to a very scary one.

We're just missing one top top forward, and a bit of depth in midfield and defence. Problems that should be fixable.

wasn't there some report that Dier want's to move abroad? Probably easier to do that at a semi decent level as a free agent.
Still he could've maybe got a loan to a luton or something, who knows.

as for Hojbjerg im sure he was open to moving, certainly dont blame him for not going on strike to get a move to fulham

hojbjerg I have no issues with. He wanted to leave for a good team and he is trusted by Ange anyway so knows he will get minutes here.

The other 2 can do one.

PEH thinks he’s too big for Fulham after flirting with Athletico

Hugo is too big for anyone who can’t guarantee him a starting role after publicly saying he wants to move on

Dier already thinking about his retirement club abroad after this season.

So delusional. Cons- they’re still here. Pros- they’re being phased out.
