Well there you go then..... Further reflects what I said.... We were making moves despite D&D still knocking about.

(Remember when, a month or so ago, Ange said the focus would be on outgoings; at the time he also intimated that we'd still be looking at incomings too. )


TBH, I'm surprised we got the squad numbers down as much as we did in the end.......

Even though I'd rather we didn't; even after Sess & Gil we still have space to register Dier & Hugo.

Gallagher fell through reportedly when Hojberg didn’t move,

Based on that it looks like we didn’t get a 3rd Cb because D&D didn’t go.
 
I think the freezing out of Dier and Lloris has almost as much to do with Postecoglou ensuring change happens as thinking they aren't among his best backup options. At least it's a bloody good signal to the whole club of his intentions.

He has been very specific in saying that if you want a different result you have to change things. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there was some truth to the old leadership group feeling hard done by in the new regime.
 
Lloyd Kelly will have 6 months left on his contract in January...
