I hope Klinsmann has the same feelings - no sense in Son playing in a couple of friendlies when he's not needed as he'll learn nothing more, better to use another, younger player, who will benefit from the minutes and experience of playing for South Korea
I hope Sonny gets a minor injury (really a minor one but can be an excuse) after the upcoming match so that he does not need to join the international team but take a full rest for recovery. Considering his status now, flying to Korea is completely insane.

Sonny is probably the toughest member of our squad.
Very few people would associate him with the English footballer Ard man image of toughness but he’s tougher than 99% of players in the prem. and still does it with a childish grin and genuinely good nature.
As a parent, Sonny has all the things u’d want your kids to grow into.
