If Chavs value Gallagher at £50m then Caceido is about £40m, Fernandez £45m and Lavia probably £40m as well.

So they overpaid by about £150m.

Not having a pop at you, but how do people come up with these valuations? Do we walk away at £31m?

Any player can only have his worth valued after their contract ends. What did they deliver in their time here?

If Ange tells Levy that Gallagher will help us achieve CL qualification and without him, we may struggle, I’m sure £50m is more than doable.

No one knows a true players value until they complete their objectives or leave the club.

I assume he would mostly rotate with Sarr in the number 8 role or cover Maddison/Kulusevski in the 10, he can play 6 but I don’t like him there.

He is a box to box midfielder and was allowed to be that at Palace, at Chelsea they play him deeper to allow Caicedo to break forward so he is played more as a sitting 8. I assume we would use him more like he was at Palace with licence to press high and make runs into the box based on how Ange plays.
