Match Brighton vs Tottenham Hotspur (A) - Thursday 28th December 19:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He has deft fingers no doubt but I have it on pretty good authority it's not Schmood. Baz sees Schmood in his dreams...pure obsession. Whoever Schmood is now I bet he can't have imagined having such a nice place to reside with no financial commitments.

But if you think Deuterz Deuterz is bad you should look at Richard Arlison Richard Arlison numbers...he's just passed a year and it's just under 17K (will be rectified by the end of the night and prolly surpass Deuterz by the new year)...makes airfixx look like an amateur.
Meh

Airfixx is the king

The rest are purely pretenders that aren't worthy of his crown

Are Dorrington and Phillips THAT bad/young to not be given a chance for at least ONE of them?
100%! That is on Ange. I don’t care what he sees in training as we have seen the regular dumb fuckers for years. I think giving some of the academy players would give the team a boost. It’s frustrating seeing how many young players teams like Brighton bring on and are not afraid to do so. Yet we only bring on young players that we bought who are mainly from overseas.

Ange in the interview :

"It's amazing that VAR picks up everything apart from a tackle that maybe puts out another of our players."

YES. This is what we need to hear. The other managers do this week in, week out. Put pressure on the officials to get it right.
He'll get a fine for what was a fair comment. That mofo Arteta escaped unscathed after calling them liars/cheats.
Opportunity missed IMHO.

We could and should have beaten Brighton.
Coulda/woulda/shoulda - it's our trademark, whenever there's a big opp in front of us, we fuck it up. And it's often self-inflicted.

We had 5 players out tonight who would undoubtedly have started tonight out, we had at least 4 players who would be nowhere near this team if all were fit, we played poorly and Brighton exploited our poor centre halves superbly, but where we shot ourself in the foot was our terrible passing an our poor finishing, all there goals came from individual errors which is unacceptable. We need to somehow beat Bournemouth on Sunday and then regroup with a couple of good signings and at least Kulu and VDV back for Manure, the early signings is all on Levy and co

sometimes i think ange (?) is only concerned with short passing/passes
Nothing else matters except ange ball

I see enough in those stats to suggest we should have scored 4 goals ourselves. 3 on target is the concern, many of those 19 shots were actually decent looks.

The ultimate difference aside from the score was that Brighton actually worked Vicario more often.

See ya!

I thought that we played hard today and it was just one of those games. Vicario was unreal and made a few excellent saves. We had a couple goals called back for offside, hit the post a couple more times and overall we weren’t badly outplayed.

Honestly, considering how many players we’ve lost and their importance, I wasn’t completely expecting us to hammer Brighton and have our way with them.
I think part of the problem is that some of the injuries (and Reds/suspensions) we've had this season seem to go unpunished when other teams commit them...

That Chelsea game was the sliding doors moment... We were in total control, then lost our heads, and half the team, and subsequently the game...

That night felt like it's just not gonna be our season...

That's the type of game that goes your way - against ALL the odds - when it's your time.

I guess it's just not our time yet... again!

...and the reason I'm going 'dry Spur January', is that we're only playing 3 times, and I gifted my season ticket for the Burnley game as I'm away... but don't fret, I'll be there for Brentford on the 31st... So not SO dry after all!

Sorry to disappoint!

Hhhmmmm a bit of perceptive here, Brighton played very well, they could have scored 5 in the 1st half alone.

Not surprising when you don't have any centre backs, plus a few players off their best and playing Angie ball.

No excuses but they exposed our weakness time and time again and we couldn't quite click up front.

We move on and go again....

Its only half way through a season that was always going to be a up and down.

P.S I didn't expect it be there this many highs and lows

We were 4-0 up after 85 minutes at home to Newcastle which you would have thought would have been the perfect opportunity to bring on Veliz and Dorrington. How does anyone gain experience if they are not given minutes on the pitch?

Let’s call a spade, a spade. That was a shocking performance and result. Brighton have been essentially sh*t since the end of September after a first start to the season.
