I'm disappointed with the result, but I have criticised Levy for years and when he does something good like hiring Ange I say so.

But today's loss more than anything has been the result of our recruitment policy before Poch arrived.

I think saying that I am throwing the toys out the pram is just disingenuous at best.
 
We just don't seem to take advantage of ANY momentum we might have had after the last 2 games... WE were the form team going into tonight.. Brighton were patchy at best, yet somehow, we made them look like Man City in their pomp!
How IS that? Do we not believe ANYONE is allowed to fear us?
We don't impose ourselves on anyone, our reputation is 'Spursy' regardless of recent results...

If Ange can do ANYTHING, it should be to make us feared, not liked...
We're a Neutral football fans dream to watch...

Problem is, most Spurs fans AREN'T neutrals!

Competitiveness wasnt the issue, we had enough looks in attack to go goal for goal with them but our attack was way off. When you go to places like Brighton you have to put scoreboard pressure on them. They crapped themselves last 10 minutes but it was far too late.

Not his biggest fan but out of kulu son and BJ he was best of a bad bunch. Tbh would have kept him on instead of flogging son. Also Ange has done this a few times takes him off put son down the middle and then we start putting decent crosses into the box. Kulu don’t think beat first player with either left or right foot. First half he put some terrible balls in.

He has deft fingers no doubt but I have it on pretty good authority it's not Schmood. Baz sees Schmood in his dreams...pure obsession. Whoever Schmood is now I bet he can't have imagined having such a nice place to reside with no financial commitments.

But if you think Deuterz Deuterz is bad you should look at Richard Arlison Richard Arlison numbers...he's just passed a year and it's just under 17K (will be rectified by the end of the night and prolly surpass Deuterz by the new year)...makes airfixx look like an amateur.

I thought that we played hard today and it was just one of those games. Vicario was unreal and made a few excellent saves. We had a couple goals called back for offside, hit the post a couple more times and overall we weren’t badly outplayed.

Honestly, considering how many players we’ve lost and their importance, I wasn’t completely expecting us to hammer Brighton and have our way with them.

Dier won't work in this system against that type of opposition. You need to be able to defend 1 on 1 and with a lot of space behind you. Eric has the agility of an aircraft carrier.

We got a point away to City playing the 4 fullbacks. Royal isn't the answer, but I think he's our best worst option atm against teams like Brighton. Which I admit sounds crazy after conceding 4 goals, but tbf that was 2 penalties and 1 worldie.
