Sure

We had our best window in years under his budget/wage structure this summer. He brought in Paratici too which was inspired

Was also his wage structure that meant we couldn’t bring another CB this summer, which almost certainly cost us points.

The last 5/6 windows have all been a success if not much better than before and signs of an actual strategy hence why we find ourselves where we are now to the point where we can push on.

Not sure what you mean about the CB/wage structure thing?

6 windows is 3 years, we've not been good for that long. Maybe you can go as far back as 3 windows ago when we signed Udogie and Sarr and left them on loan at their respective clubs.

Before that the only elite player we'd signed in years was Romero.

The bulk of our best stransfers have been within the last two summer windows. Sarr, Udogie, Vicario, Udogie, Porro, Bentancur, Kulu all are on their first or second season at the club (though technically Kulu and Benta are on the third).

If we sold Son, Romero would be the most senior starting 11 player in terms of time at the club.

Strategy over the last 5/6 is pushing it.

But bringing Paratici was one of the best things Levy ever did for the football team.

I think you do know what I mean by the CB thing but neither of us want to go down the road or your reply to it, so happy to leave that.

I think I’ve never been more confident that the football department is going to recruit well.

Every single player you sign isn't going to be 'elite' that's not how transfers work, no-one's going to have a 100% record every window, the point is that the players we have signed have showed that we have a strategy and pushed the club on as opposed to the previous years we were throwing shit at a wall and hoping some of it stuck.

Actually you're right, not the last 6 (that would include Jan 2021) but from that Summer we signed Romero, Sarr, Gil, Emerson, Gollini - That's the first sign we actually had some sort of strategy in place

No, I really don't, can you explain because it's the first I've heard of it?
