Not sure why we waste time entering negotiations with Chelsea. Its a complete waste of time. They despise us and created this rivalry about 30 years ago. Its a no go area. 60m for Gallagher is a waste of money and time imo.

If we spend £60m on Gallagher then we deserve to be relegated.
100% This. He reeks Chelsea. Let him stay there and fester....Cant see Connor Gallagher in a spurs shirt.
Look at him? He looks like a Chelsea slag!
He's another Kerry Dixon
Oh no, how are unfortunate, how we will survive this?

'Brilliant' player given £60m price-tag for January, Tottenham won't be able to sign him now

Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £60 million price tag on Conor Gallagher this month, which could ultimately price Tottenham Hotspur out of a move.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a January swoop for Conor Gallagher, with his future at Chelsea looking uncertain.
Gianluca Di Marzio claimed just last week that Spurs have opened talks with the Blues over a move for Gallagher.
Yet, recent reports have suggested that no such talks have taken place just yet.
The 23-year-old’s links to Spurs certainly raised a few eyebrows last week, with Jamie Carragher labelling Chelsea a ‘mess’.
But according to Football Transfers, Tottenham simply won’t be able to afford Gallagher this month.
This is down to Chelsea demanding a £60 million fee to even consider selling the Englishman.
The outlet notes that due to Financial Fair Play (FFP) constraints, Spurs are likely to stall their interest in Gallagher until the summer.
Gallagher has been lauded for his ‘brilliant’ displays in a Chelsea shirt this term. The Englishman has emerged as a standout performer under Pochettino.
Of course, Spurs could be in the market for a midfielder this month, with Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr heading to AFCON 2024.
But a move for Gallagher looks unlikely at this stage unless Chelsea significantly lower their demands.
It would be a shame for Tottenham to miss out on Gallagher given the fact they need reinforcements in midfield. The Chelsea star also seems like a perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s high-energy brand of football.
Nevertheless, there are other options Spurs could explore should they miss out on Gallagher, with Kalvin Phillips also said to be a target.
Bentaleb? We haven’t got him back , have we ?All this article really says is that Chelsea have a huge FFP hole to fill and they want Gallagher to contribute £60m - followed by five othermugsclubs to give them the same.
Reality is nobody is going to offer more than £30m - £40m (absolute max) as he does NOT contribute many goals or assists. And that price gives a big value to his potential - atm he would not be a starter at Spurs with Bentaleb, Bissouma, Maddison, Sarr ahead of him.
I suspect we could find better value elsewhere to be honest

both are sheer madness. looks decent olise but 80m!! as the post above says we got vic, udogie, sarr and bentancur for just 60. so if youre gonna drop 80 on just one player they need to be sure thing of actually improving the 11.

I know. I accidentally typed Poch the other day instead of Ange. It happens.
I personally think Olise is a legit world class talent.both are sheer madness. looks decent olise but 80m!! as the post above says we got vic, udogie, sarr and bentancur for just 60. so if youre gonna drop 80 on just one player they need to be sure thing of actually improving the 11.
He's a pwopa grafter though, nasty and well, english....so easily worth 50-60mCant see Connor Gallagher in a spurs shirt.

hes defo the most talented player at palace. but for 80m, that could probably get you the georgian at napoli who massively improves the LW spot.
Often think a butchering of Latin works better for us :
