Player Timo Werner

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

So do we think Ange throws him right in at Old Trafford?

And if so, on the left or up top?

I think he's shown when we signed van de Ven that he isn't afraid of starting new signings, even with minimal training.
I don't think we have much choice BUT to throw him straight in... Especially in January...
Son away, Veliz, Maddison , Solomon injured... It's him or Richie (or a combination of the two!)

He can get his breath back in Feb once Sonny returns (hopefully unscathed!)

Oi, lay off... That's GIO LO CELSO's song....

Just gotta get it going, that's all!

.
...anyway, if we're gonna dust down an oldie, why not revive the Terry Venables classic.... it would be a fitting tribute:

"So Timo you Werner make those eyes at me for....?"
Geddit?

I mean, he could play the exact team that started against Burnley. Perhaps swap Hojbjerg with Skipp and look to introduce Werner in the second half against tired legs.

But I do think he'll start.

What's Scotland got to with Timo Werner?
Well, if you read the context in the previous posts, it was to do with Jota, And preferring Jota as I have heard and know a little about him, over someone who I knew the squareroot of fuck all about, Werner.

And someone tried to claim I was talking bollox, as I had stopped really watching Spurs for the last 4 years after Mourinho's arraival.

And if that was case, how do you know Jota and not Werner... Because I have friends who live in Glasgow, and if I followed a Scottish team, it would be Celtic as I like their kit and name.

Its all hands on deck regardless of who plays where!

Vicario
Porro
Romero
Van De Ven
Udogie
Bissouma
Bentancur
Maddison
Kulusevski
Werner
Son

Dragusin (hopefully), Sarr, Lo Celso, Johnson, Richarlison, Solomon, Veliz

18 players right there that can impact a game either when starting or off the bench with plenty of youth in their favour.

This new Tottenham team really does have a lot to get excited about... a lot of teams will be keeping an eye on us from now on

Most likely he will score 10 goals and only 3 will count with him being offside for the rest.

I'm not going to fall for Timo like all the other fanbases that have gone for him. Everyone says "he can be good for us" and then he's not. At this point, he's just an average player with pace.
Shit like this is so weird to me. Rather be “right” as an amateur volunteer talent evaluator than see someone do well for the club you purportedly support.

It's not that at all. It's that I'm not going to get my hopes up for a player that we all laughed at for years because he was so bad. Admit it, most of us here mocked Chelsea fans for hyping up Werner and now we are doing it.

Just because he's a Spurs player now doesn't mean he's suddenly good. He's still a wasteful pace merchant until he learns to finish.

I mock Chelsea fans because they’re fucking Chelsea fans. It’s rarely grounded in reason.

I hope Werner is good for us and my opinion changes on him. But until then, I'm not thrilled with this signing at all. I would have rather brought in a player I've never heard of and at least id be optimistic.

With Werner, I just feel it's a waste.. Hopefully I end up wrong.

Warner reminds me of Juke Box Durie.
May not score many but runs sound alot and causes chaos.
😮 I hated him with a passion.
bar his 1st couple of games he was terrible and I was told by someone in the club that he feigned injuries as he never wanted to be here.
to think that them lot paid the same for Ian Wright around the same time bugs me still.

Them having to watch a player they threw away fire us to a trophy while our former manager can’t even get them into Europe will be sweet. All the better if we get Gallagher off them and he turns into an England regular at WHL.
