Fair, I can certainly see the logic in bringing in a DM.
True, but he's not started too many.
Who does he replace in the XI? Sarr?
Unless Forest go down, there will be no chance of getting him.
A few million quid for Dier would be a good result. With how we count the pennies it probably helped push Dragusin along.

Devine is a good shout. I wonder if they don't want to send him on another loan though.
NOT any type of HG for UEFAWill that count for Europe as well as PL? And would he be 'club trained' for Europe purposes?
And UEFA is where we will struggle to meet the HG limit, so that will turn into an issue.

My view-
You could split our midfield into:
AM: Maddison, Kulu, GLC
CM: Bentancur, Bissouma, Sarr
(Bench option) DM: Skipp
I personally would feel comfortable with the top 6 there as our midfield options, 6 players covering 3 spots, with Skipp reserve.
True, but he's not started too many.
As I said, buying 1-2 quality forwards unlocks Kulu as a midfield option, so I'm not saying we should be lighter as a squad overall.
Maddison usually plays just behind the frontn3 but does drift out wide quite often.
