Honestly, who gives a fuck..... They're entirely built on cheating.... They ought to be dripping with world class players.... It's hardly remarkable.
We looked flat after mid season break. Not sure ange respected pep too much tonight or pep really was up for it. We still need more quality in team. Was minus son, sarr and bissouma. Need a top striker now or in summer. Defence was great tonight. Lets be honest it was a free hit season for ange padticulatly after losing kane. Need a top striker asap.
We lost to a better team. That’s how it works with cups.
This is a different team and a different manager to previous seasons. The signs are there that our chance to win things is coming.
Yes we did give 100%. We just don’t have enough quality like them yet but it’s coming. You add a fit madders,Sarr,Biss and Sonny to that and it’s different. Completely different.
Not sure having Sonny would have helped today, unless it was some intangible that gave our players a bit more confidence in zipping their passes about. Needed a fit Madders more than anything else, as Ange ball isn’t happening if we don’t move the ball quickly and release the forwards.

Understand the point, but I’ve seen games like that against City for years. And Son would have scored on a quick cut in and curled shot into the corner.

But Vic should have made a meal of the other corners when he was obviously fouled so it would have forced them to back off from him. Hell learn
City were brilliant for the first 30 minutes.
We got better, were able to progress the ball towards the final third but fluffed pretty much every through ball.
The game mattered so we didn't turn up (from an attacking perspective) defending was solid.
When it matters we fold, probably get a bunch of disagrees again but that's the truth and we all know it.
It's these owners they have to step aside. They have mediocrity running through their DNA

TBF Citeh were the better side tonight. Wasn’t for the lack of effort on our part, rather quality. Final ball and decision making was poor.

I have to agree. He tries hard but you are never gonna win the league with him as the quality isn’t quite there. However Johnson is a bigger worry. Just don’t see what he offers. His final ball is appalling. Kulusevski as well is not the player he seemed to be either. Has never been the quickest physically and seems to be slow in the mind at the moment as well. Think we need fresh attacking talent but I can’t see Levy stumping up more cash to be honest
And to think, the other guy in the back four that wasn't mentioned has probably been our player of the season.
