Match FA Cup 4th Round - Man City [H] - Friday 26 Jan 20:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Players like Werner and Johnson need to be played in behind. The few times they were they looked dangerous.

Destiny, Deki, Bentancur and Porro just did a horrible job on the ball. Dreadful passing and ignoring easy passes in favour of silly shit.
Fair enough.

But then why start them when you know City gonna dominate possession & after 5 mins it was bloody obvious City were gonna nullify them...

It was a shit way to get knocked out of another trophy. All we have is league now and we are getting everybody back by February so there is no reason not to finish top 4. With a healthy squad, we are going to be the team nobody will want to play. I don’t think we will win the league, but there is no reason why we can’t finish as high as 2nd or 3rd.

Just cut your own hair whilst watching the match, it's called multitasking. That's what I do anyhow.

The Foden cut!

I am coming out of retirement on here after a few years of 2 new babies and the dross that was depressing me so much I couldn't even chat spurs under Mourinho and Conte with anyone but family.

Some of the comments here are embarrassing. 'Out of another cup with a whimper, same old, weak goalkeeping, anotther trophyless season' etc etc. Give Ange and the team a chance ffs.
I thought we had them under control for most of that game tbh - we weren't at our best at all and couldn't push up the pitch much for a lot of it but a little perspective here.
One of if not the best side in the world, without 4 key first team players and a very tough game for any team in world football.

We are at the start of a rebuild under an exciting manager who has had the worst possible injury and suspension luck I have ever seen and to be beaten by a scruffy late goal isn't the end of the world.

We are fine - playing great stuff for the first time in over 4 years, great recruitment for the first time in years, not a FFP ducking cunt club like city or Chelsea and we will be a proper contender soon again.

Some people need to wise up and get behind the new team.

Great post , wish I could give it more than one agree.

Not sure having Sonny would have helped today, unless it was some intangible that gave our players a bit more confidence in zipping their passes about. Needed a fit Madders more than anything else, as Ange ball isn’t happening if we don’t move the ball quickly and release the forwards.

Now we‘ve got to listen to the “Spurs win nothing” crowd crowing again :ange-bored2:

What a fucking shame eh?

City buy another trophy I guess... We can't compete with that level of corruption and sports washing...

.ah well. What can you do?

Wait for the Money merry go round to swing our way I guess!

Chicken and egg. The side needs to work on spotting and executing those through ball opportunities a bit better, but also if we want to get where we want to be then really we've got to be ruthless as fuck when it comes to upgrading the forwards/final third options.
