The benefit to bringing Johnson off the bench is it makes his pace and quickness that much more effective when he's going at players who've already played a half or more.

Issue is we don't have better options for turning the game on the bench, than him. We need more attacking quality on the bench, which would afford Johnson more opportunity to start in my mind.

How is he out of his depth? We've won 17 prem games out of 29, we're 4th and you'd hope for a 4th or 5th finish in his first season with a youngish, post Kane team.

I didnt buy the early season hero worship and the performances in 2024 have been pretty scratchy but at absolute worst he's a Martin Jol type level manager. I fail to see how thats out of his depth. Nuno was, Ramos was elsewhere the likes of De Boer and Nathan Jones. Not seeing that at all.

If it’s not his style then what are they doing in training? We have must had more time to spend on the training pitch than most other teams. Surely if he can see it he can do something about it? Had enough time to tell the fuckers move the ball, quicker, run faster and bloody move.
 
Another day we would have won that 4-1. First half was pretty terrible though, definitely need to sort out the way we start games. Hopefully Bentancur can recover from his broken toe and start instead of Bissouma soon.

No. Our goals being lucky does not inferior any of that stupid nonsense you spouted. Our inability to finish showed again and the first half again is crap as often it is. So often we scrape through these games and it quite easily could be a draw. Top 4 beyond my expectations at the start of the season so I am good with where we are but nothing at all wrong with my take.
