Agree that he was a game chamger today, and deserves the praises.
However, this was Luton. They gave him so much space. Better defences wont allow such space for him to exploit and he would then be ineffective. This is where the trickery and ball-keeping qualities of Kulu can come in.
In summary, Ange needs to know when to play either one of them.

The slagging off this guy got initially was something else.
He did look poor at the start, weak and disinterested. Were people supposed to ignore that and blindly say he’s played well (even though he hadn’t)? Don’t know why do gooders are so averse to constructive criticism of players. No-one said he will never improve
People aren’t supposed to do anything but if they don’t want to make themselves look silly they could try to be patient with a young player figuring out a new club, system and taking a massive step up in expectations, BEFORE making rash judgments.
And bollox, loads of people said he’s not good enough and wasn’t going to be..
Side note, probably best to move away from the idea of starters and bench players. We need to have Stars and Starters. Johnson and Deki are both starters atm. I’d possibly prefer Brennan to start for now but that can change.
Star players are that good that they start every game regardless. I think we only have Son as a star forward, Vic, Romero, Micky, Destiny and maybe Porro are our only other stars atm. I’d love Maddison to get back to star level but he’s not yet.

Doesn't react quickly enough, doesn't open his body enough and so the contact between ball and foot ain't the best...shoots straight at the keeper.
But was there to make the run, get ahead of his defender, hit the ball...and with a tad more luck, he'd have gotten his name on the scoresheet.
He's a clever and hungry kid, he'll learn. Plus he's got Ange and his own Da to mentor him. Not bad.
I am a body language expert and I can assure you he is not weak.

I thought he started brightly and got himself into some good goalscoring positions early on and then pretty sure he had an ankle problem and dropped right off, bad ankles fuck with your head, your body starts protecting them instinctively and robs that explosiveness that counts so much for an attacking player
actually some said they can't see him improving so that's incorrect. Also he definitely did not look poor at the start (except for his pressing and defensive work which was suspect to say the least).
