He was talking about when he was a supporter, not a player. You're making excuses for his hypocrisy.
He could have handled the presser professionally and just said "We are going to try and win the game and do our job" and left out all the shit about not caring what the supporters think, how he isn't fussed among all the other things I have highlighted.

Mentality being a major part of it. For these players to have the mentality to win trophies they need to approach the biggest games with the mindset and belief in themselves to win. He can't afford to have any other mentality for any game.

Trying to win a trophy is different to winning one. He has tried and failed this season and is still criticising 15 seasons before him, most of which were better than his. He hasn't fucking won anything.
