Not surprised he’s been invited in. He loves a chat with the media. I don’t think it does us any harm at all with him being on tv raising his and our profile.

The miserable cunts who moan about everything will no doubt not be happy.

Case study no 1. :harrylol:

Of course Ange is a pundit. He loves the lime light. Its the ange show every press conference. Not a fan. Especially after that liverpool question. It just seems to be all about promoting himself.

Lol this place is too predictable, seems like Ange has tall poppy syndrome, was always going to happen at some point

Self promotion is the long term key to survival in the football management game.

The average PL manager lasts 600 days. Take out pep and Klopp from that calculation it’s 400 days.

Ange won’t be at spurs for 2000 days. I’m 100% sure of that.
Be surprised if he sees out his original 4 year contract tbh.

Ange is not a novice at football punditry. Between the Australian Junior teams and Brisbane Roar he was a regular on Foxsports coverage of the A-League and International matches. Oh - I forgot - Australian football broadcasting is just not on the same level as European football broadcasting

This you?

Or this...

Or even this...

Or maybe this...

Let's be real, you're a bit of an idiot aren't you.

Stop trying so hard you will pull a muscle or something.

No, you are not cool and cynical and sarcastic/funny enough. You just look desperate.

It takes an absolute idiot not to understand concept of taking on new pieces of information and new circumstances.

Absolutely - these were all my posts.
Absolutely - I WAS optimistic when some players returned, but now looking back it did not work out like I expected.
Absolutely - I felt that injuries were massive hinderance to our season, until after season was concluded and I saw AN ACTUAL AND FACTUAL table of how many games players were missing for us and how much for our competitors.

But I get it. Your last two braincells made up conclusion years ago and ability to take new info into consideration is incomprehensible to you. So stick to some simpler things in the future, hurts your little brain less ;) .

Or keep doing what you do, and try to look funny and sarcastic all the time, I guess that does not take too much brain capacity.

So after all this contradictory bullshit the best response is you're a idiot (classy) and you're brainless blah blah

You're better off just owning the fact that you're a massive flip flop and you generally have no idea what you're talking about as opposed to making yourself look even more stupid

Just log off for the Summer man 🤦‍♀️

Would you prefer him being on there speaking positively about us or another gooner or scouser using any mention of us to be negative? Pretty obvious why him being on there is good for the profile of the club.
That's completely meaningless waffle, he'll be there to discuss the matches being shown, not Spurs, our profile will remain exactly as it was before, we're one of the top 10 clubs in the world in a number of metrics, and have been in European competition consistently enough that anyone with a passing interest in football knows who we are...

If any Woolwich or Liverpool biased pundits are on there, it'd be really weird for them to mention Spurs at all, and they'd just end up showing themselves up rather than having any impact at all on our football club.

If you genuinely think he's going on there to fight the good fight for little old Spurs, then you must be on some wild substances.

As it is, I'd ideally rather our manager was taking his time off in the summer as an opportunity to relax, reflect, and come back refreshed for the new season. I always find it strange when currently active managers and players pop up doing punditry, what is their need for it?

Financial?
Ego?

Wenger used to do it while he was managing.

Kompany did the last World Cup as well. Its not an unusual thing to do.

Personally I think lot depends how much the manager likes his wife and children and going on all inclusive holidays.
Can be quite stressful versus watching some football and drinking and talking football every night in a hotel or restaurant.

Maybe the guy likes football🤷‍♂️

So Ange has to take 6 weeks off to reflect and relax?
He will have his holidays and take time off. And to be honest these guys won’t switch off. Tottenham will consume Ange’s thoughts whether he’s on a beach or doing punditry.

The guy can’t win. If some don’t like him they’ll find something to have moan about him.
Episode 15 Crying GIF by One Chicago

Obviously we are still conceding too many chances/goals, but what mitigates this season against last season is that we've still managed to concede less, despite changing from atotally risk averse, reactive bus park strategy to a much riskier, proactive style of football.

Whether that translates into even better defensive numbers next season remains to be seen.
Our "totally risk averse" defense last season was Lloris, 3 from Dier, Sanchez, Romero and Davies with Royal at RWB and either Sess or Peresic at LWB

Our defensive unit, even when Romero played was like watching the 3 stooges most of the time. If Dier wasn't playing opposition attackers through on goal, we had Lloris throwing it in his own net or Sanchez getting booed off the pitch after the worst 20 minute cameo in PL history.

This season we've had a keeper that I believe made no errors leading to goal all season, 2 top quality CB's at the top of their game, and pretty useful FB's. And we still conceded almost as many goals. I would, on paper at least, expect the current unit to concede 15-20 goals less over a season than we did tbh.
