But you can’t really count Solomon and Gil who hardly played. When timo came on loan he virtually started every game he was fit bar 1 or 2. That’s why I’m saying we have not and not really going to improve our forwards that much even though Ange said it was an area that needed improving. Getting Timo regardless of Solomon or Gil and him being a loan is not a step in the right direction.

Every club buys young talents in the hope that they fulfill their potential, unfortunately most players don't.
If Sarr doesn't have the potential to be as good as Gallagher il be worried.... Not asking for him to be prime Seedorf.
But I get your point we need to buy players who improve our starting 11.

Emery had him while at Villarreal right? Could be something in that - let them have him for a nominal fee and take Luiz at a knock down - or if it helps cook the books over pay on Luiz and then they in turn over pay for GLC (which gets spread over the length of his contract vs banking the profit on Luiz in year 1)
Solanke improves us 100%. So does Toney but never really seen him press and has been so overrated by the broadcasters

I will qualify this by saying I haven't seen much of him. At first I thought he was a similar to Odegaard. However, there does seem to be a bit of De Jong about him as well.

Luiz was pretty shit after their hot start.

Would be a good start moving him on. Hopefully we have a sell on as I expect he will be back in the PL a better player in a year or so time.
