Swap deal does fuck all for them though If they need to raise money mate.

Especially when they can likely just get more money outright for him from other clubs who are supposedly interested without taking on even more wages of an extra player.
They don't need money they need to balance the books for ffp. You realise the players value even if a swap deal. 40m on their books while purchases will be 5-6 a year over the length of the contract

It's 3 years by 21 or the end of the season you turn 21 so he could still be CT if he moves this summer before the start of the season.

1 24/25 turns 19 association trained
2 25/26 turns 20 association trained
3 26/27 turns 21 List B
4 27/28 turns 22 Club trained (but can still go on List B)
5 28/29 turns 22 Club trained

You are legend on these things.

Tbh it makes even more sense to do the deal if they can. If we could end up in 2-3 years with a list of CT and HG players that looks like this:

Vuskovic
Phillips
Dorrington
Hall
Gray
Bergvall
Devine
Donley
Moore

That is some serious forward thinking.

Plus Sarr that will be HG in the prem, right?

“Taking a look” lol what does that even mean?
:ange-facepalm:

Add that to the Spurs transfer bingo cards, including classics such as “monitoring” “discussing” “pondering over” “mulling over” “posturing” “stalling” “contemplating making a move”

It means journos and aggregators have football fans on complete strings and they chat load of fucking bollocks purely for engagement and clicks.

If you're seeing the same old story continually crop up with the usual vague crap then it's probably time to go outside and leave the Internet alone for a few days.

Even if only 25% of these actually make it to the level required to win stuff, it will be a fantastic base with which to build a top team.

Summerville is one of the reasons why I really struggled to get my head around Werner.

Now, if Werner for wages means we do somehow end up with Kubo and a legit striker, then I could maybe get my head around it.

There is just so much to get done this summer.
Werner on those mad wages makes zero sense, whichever way you look at it and whatever we end up doing/not.

The level of disrespect shown to a true club legend like Sonny, who has had to work his ass off and score 100 of goals over several seasons to get to 170k a week. But no, Werner joins in Jan, does okay...and boom, here's your fat cheque.

It's code. It tells you what stage the negotiations are at. The more 'looky' they get, the closer the deal is to being considered by Levy.

Casting an eye: Casual interest.
Taking a look: Only if you'll take Royal in PX
Glancing flirtatiously: 'Go ugly early' interest.
Fluttering their eyelids: "Call me?" - when he's on offer.
Full-face moron blank gaze of deep unnerving: *sucks teeth* If only he was cheap.
Staring with the eyes of a rapist: A little bird told me you're trying to raise funds?
Ten-thousand-yard lock-on to the back of their eyeballs: FFP trouble you say? Assume the position.
Unblinking Sauronic power glare: [Reserved for Citeh in 2025]

Ange was still mentioning that he hasn't got 100% buy in from the whole squad yet. Not having a pop but just saying it's natural. A player that already excelled under him would definitely help. Especially one that would blow them all away on the training pitch.
Bale, Kane and a few other not too shabby players said in the past that Ndombele was the most incredible player they'd ever seen at practice...bar none. We all saw how that translated into game brilliance.

I get your point, don't worry.

The worrying thing that there will probably be people queuing to to buy it …

The following is a bit off-topic : but it hopefully, illustrates and supports my point :

I was into scootering when I was younger ( still am to a degree) .

About 30 years ago « Scootering » magazine did an article informing readers that the Vespa company were going to sell a limited edition of compressed air canisters ; filled with air from their factory in Pontedera
( in Tuscany ) . The idea was that enthusiasts could inflate their Vespa’s tyres with genuine air from Pontedera ( a place revered by many TBF ) .

« Scootering « got a lot of enquiries regarding when the compressed air canisters would become available ; how many that would be made allocated to the UK / US markets etc.

The next month the magazine actually put out an apology / explanation…..the article had been included in their April edition …..

They’re not called “‘fanatics “ for nothing.

True story .

So ………… over to you Daniel ……….remember where you heard it first etc
Good man, another fellow scooterist here as well.
I used to have a Lambretta GP 200, but converted to a 225, would like to get another one by the time I hit 60.

Utter nonsense. Every club throughout the pyramid will view success by winning at their level. For Barnet, success isn't winning the Premier league, it's gaining promotion to the football league or winning the FA Trophy.

Spurs are a BIG 6 club, and before the formation of the Premier League , a BIG 5 club

Success at a big club such as Tottenham Hotspur should always be gauged on what the club wins and how we compete against our PEERS. ...Not how we compete against the other 98% of the pyramid.

You may be happy to accept mediocrity and belittle your own club, but show some respect and quit expecting the rest of the fan base to act the same way, yeah. 👍
John my man, stop throwing haymakers at that nugget or he's gonna resuscitate @legrandcoq

Another one who thinks Cunha could be a hidden gem, possibly picked up for nice money and be very effective.
Very good player, beautiful to watch.

Not sure I'd trust him as a No 9, though. But defo more than Werner, Kulu...perhaps even the magical Madders.

Reckon Wolves would want 60mil...at least.

Fitness a slight issue, though...he's never played a full season of footy in his life.
