Ange needs to work out what he is doing with all young strikers, Parrot, Scarlett, Veliz and Lankshear. Needs to keep 1 or 2 around the squad I would assume. Parrot had a good loan spell and Lankshear did great in the u21s. Scarlett and Veliz both got shafted with their loans and hardly played. At least one of these guys needs to be our 3rd striker and get game time and the others need to play somewhere on loan or sold if not good enough.

I’m pretty sure he knows what he’s doing. Only one of them may be involved will be in about it next year as we have Richy,Sonny and another expected to come in.

Tbh there isn't really a need to keep any of them around if we sign another forward and none of them leave.

Send them all out on loan.

Parrot maybe the only exception but it depends on him wanting to be the 7th forward, especially if we did sign an Eze type that also plays a couple of the forward positions.

I‘m sceptical unless something comes out in the next day or so. I wonder if the fact we haven’t been able to sell anyone before the end of the month has a baring on things as we have spent money (although not as much as we’d all like) and we know how levy likes to balance the books. I do worry everything linking us to the forest players has quietened down though, I don’t want to sign any of them and I thought they had to sell a player this month.

Right now it feels like all the clubs are waiting for FFP to bring prices down late in the window.


It might be the perfect conditions for a club that doesn’t have FFP issues to pay a little higher early in the window and be the market maker. After years of Chelsea and other establishment clubs pricing us out of the market, maybe this year we have the opportunity to do it them
