I think Championship for Phillips would be good again. Only just turned 19. I doubt any Prem team is going to willingly start a 19 year old at CB, especially one with eyes on survival.

At the time he was a young promising player that that caught up in the revolving manager door at Spurs. Good left back who showed some promise year 1 but then when forced to play LWB he was lost. Then the injuries.

The failure was in the scouting and not noticing he plays like a whippet chasing a beach ball. It happened to be Steve Hitchens last summer here which i'm sure is coincidental.
