I'll be honest here....

Either Everyone is making it up about Neto, or the SC ITKs (WLB) had the Neto interest this summer before the mainstream reporters.

Or they saw him play against us at the Lane this season, decided he was our kinda player, used the basic maths of us scouting players by seeing who plays well against us....and....educated guess.

They definitely don't know anything. They can guess a lot.

You can even throw in other transfer bingo picks like Wolves FFP situation and his horrendous injuries as a way for Daniel Greedy to get him cheaper.

My take is that I'm sick of sicknotes and don't want any. No matter how good they are 3 times a season.

My take on Neto is: If they have enough information to believe they can keep him fit, I think he'd be perfect.

He is still young enough to mature and manage his body better. Kane managed it. I doubt he could play 2 games a week, every week but we wouldn't need him to.

Yeah he's a solid player. Think we would have looked at him before going for Ash Phillips who had the tiny release clause. Has always put in a shift when I've seen him with the England u19/u20s. He's from Harlow so was hoping he might be a Spurs fan but apparently his family support Spam. The Posh chairman has said before they'll build a new stadium off the back of his fee so obviously hoping for a big fee to come in, probably somebody like Palace, Brighton, West Ham will take a punt at some point.

Agreed. My worry is that on top of being the type of explosive athlete succeptible to hamstring injury, he had a weird patella injury 2yrs ago. Often a graft from hamstring used in surgery leaves players more likely to injure and re-injure a hamstring. Speculation, may have been no hamstring graft used in surgery.

I can't see Spurs spending €50m on Calafiori but I don't want him to end up at Woolwich though. LB is one of their few weak spots and Calafiori, albeit primary a LCB, will improve Woolwich in that position...

I dunno, if they are battling Chelsea they will have to spunk massive wages and a lot of their budget on him.

i think he's decent but not sure he's especially quick or mobile enough in a premier league setting

The knee injury was a bone injury no?

Then last year was both hammys not the same one twice.

I get the concern, but I'm not clued up enough to know what information they could get that would persuade Levy to part with 30-40m on a player with injury problems.
