My guess is Spence wants to stay at Genoa.

Pretty sure his option to buy was "only" £8.5m. I imagine either a Championship club or a team lower down in the Prem will pay that for a young, English player. I guess the main issue is the reputation he picked up after his time at Leeds.
Will Djed agree to the move? No point agreeing a fee in England if Spence would rather be in Italy.

It’s a basic risk decision. He’s an excellent player but his hamstrings are made of dairylea.
Lo Celso was bad enough.

Neto is a really good player and was keen on him signing but that last hamstring injury is just too many. We've finally got rid of Sess, probably Lo Celso lets not replace them with similar. Last 3 seasons he's played 13, 19 and 24 games.
