Nah, classic case of good player in a bad environment - Utd's culture has been shit, rarely any player excels there and end up going backwards or stagnating.

Utd handed him a shit heavy contract and he's lost his hunger, he's as a good as a 1v1 winger with an end product we could wish for and he's brilliant on transitions, we won't bite though because his wages are nuts.

I don't know, I just don't see what other people see, his end product is very inconsistent, even though he's now 26 he still is an incredibly streaky player, not a guy you can rely on to gee up the team when the chips are down, I respect the work he's done for hungry kids and as a person he's fantastic, but I've always viewed him as "above-average to good", would look shit hot for an Everton or Brentford but never gonna cut it for a top-end side. Look at the likes of Bale, Modric, Berbatov and how good they looked with the shit we surrounded them with in their time, Rashford only performs well for Utd when Utd are performing well as a team, that's a passenger imo.

I think for those prices for those player, I'd rather just stick with Richarlison until someone great becomes available.
Tbh we have parrot who did well in Holland plus young Will give them some minutes in the cups. Veliz god knows know idea why we bought him when we already had Scarlett. Strange how we look to always want to loan out our own academy players yet bring in players of the same age to be in first team squad.

Bayern or PSG are my bet.

Unless we've worked behind the scenes for months and it's not leaked how close it is.
Not saying that'll be the case, but you wouldn't put it past Lange...

We can swoop all we want but this guy doesn't seem like he'd be interested at all in joining us, let alone leave Spain.

If there's any truth to it then I hope we get rejected quickly and not waste too much time on it.

:ange-confused:

For the right money, he's a good signing. But his wages are too high though, someone on here pointed that out to me.

He had a shit season but as FOK FOK points out, he got 17 league goals the year before and he has reached that mark twice in his career. At his best, he's an excellent player.

Season before last, Son was absolutely shit and looked finished. Ange came and got him going again. Rashford might just need a change from Ten Hag.
In fairness to rashford he’s been shit under every manager he’s played for

Sure but I don't think they would have told him that when he arrived. So as far as he was concerned he'd have been playing second choice CF to Kane, he played more on the left IIRC.

Anyway he's not good enough as the first choice CF for a PL team looking for top 4, never has been IMO.

His choices have to be, be second choice or find another club.
Why would Richarliason go anywhere? He's on big money at a big club that's going to play Europa league this season and push for top a 4 spot. I think he'd be happy to just be the back up striker and play a bit of wing.
Unless they can find a big club for him to go too he'll probably be here for another 3 seasons.
It's not his fault that we overpaid for him.

Cause presumably he wants to fight for his Brazil starting spot, and that's hard to do when you don't start for your club.
