Luckily we've nailed Moore down until he's 18.

So we've got a little over a year to convince him he's the future here.

16 seems like a less than ideal age to let these youth deals run out. At least at 18 the club are in a better position to project more first team intent for the player.

At 16 you can't commit with the same conviction cos they're still just kids; whereas at 18 a particularly gifted player should rightfully be making inroads into adult football.

Anyone else find their strategy really weird? They are buying a load of young promising players but how are they all going to play, they have so many players on the books now?

All well and good buying talent but you need to be able to nurture them and they need consistent minutes.
They already had about 20 first team players who couldn’t even get on the bench. The place must be toxic.

They're spending big fees on them though, to flip them for a profit the players have to actually develop well and perform well.

These players aren't academy "pure profit" either.

Yeah don't see how they can be flipped, these players need to accumulate mins and establish themselves first before their value increases.

The saleable assets at Chelsea is the youth academy, so they're going to keep selling of the youth players in the hope that these stars will come good but how does that happen if you have so many players at the club meaning that they'll struggle to get mins...how is that aiding their development?

Erm.. I guess Boehly has a shopping addiction then

This is Chelsea , there must be some angle to it , some dodgy scheme that will definitely work out

That club never get what they deserve

Guessing they'll be loaning many of them out.

Maybe Juventus will loan Sancho from Man United. What do you think of this player?
Never watched him in Germany. Saw all his performances for England and a fair few for Man u, never seen him have a good game. Apparently has an attitude problem, stays up late gaming and comes in late to training giving no real effort.

Decent journos really rated his first stint at Dortmund, last season a few moments rather than consistently good.

Fire sale at Munich. Kane must surely be wondering what’s going on there. First Dier, then Kompany, now selling half their starting line up.

Bayern Munich need to sell players before they can sign anyone - with France winger Kingsley Coman, 28, Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt, 24,Germany midfielders Leon Goretzka, 29, Joshua Kimmich, 29, and Serge Gnabry, 28, and Canada left-back Alphonso Davies, 23, among the candidates to leave. (Kicker, in German)
