This bloke so obviously was not developed properly it's crazy. He might have an epl career in the end though
He had terrible injuries at very unfortunate times, if he had been consistently fit I think there was an opportunity for him to develop into a first team player for us.
Know a few millwall fans and they all reckon he is too good for the championship and the best centre back they have ever had , he will be back in the premier league next season

What I don’t get is why didn’t we renew his contract and then loan him to Millwall?
Don’t get me wrong , you can’t get everyone right but to let him go on a free was madness !

I can’t remember but isn’t everyone at this club? Solomon was injured and goes to Leeds and has been available every game!
Fair play to the lad though , he wanted game time . Just naive of us not to offer him a new contract and then send him out on loan , home grown as well isn’t he !
Was it madness??? He couldn't stay fit, didn't look amazing when he did play for us. Struggled to get a game at Augsburg and his contract was expiring. We could have renewed his contract and got 200 maybe 300k for him... thats it. Maybe he's found his level in the Championship and fair play to him. One of the promoted clubs might take a flyer on him next season. But don't kid yourself we could have sold him for millions.
Not saying we could have sold him for millions but he wouldn’t have been on much (for a pl player) surely it would have been a good idea to renew his contract and then get him a loan in the championship - then if he performs we can sell him , if not we are down a few years wages .

I get your point but there was no body of work to make you think he was going to be like Joe Rodon for example. I hate the board with a passion and there are hundreds of things to point the finger at them about, but I don't think this is one of them.
