We could have renewed his contract and got 200 maybe 300k for him... thats it. Maybe he's found his level in the Championship and fair play to him. One of the promoted clubs might take a flyer on him next season. But don't kid yourself we could have sold him for millions.

We could have taken up the option for an extra year and sold him with a sell on clause for if he managed to stay fit like he is at the moment.

Standards and all that, but we will see. Maybe a bottom half of the table team if he develops spectacularly; from what we have seen at Spurs he isn't a PL defender.
