It's a shit ton of profit for Sporting
We really fucked up not buying him. Honestly we should have a pot of money ringfenced for championship players, buy the best one every window

Easy deals to do, straightforward contracts, taxes and agents, low wages and easy to sell on or loanif they won’t work out

Olise is another example, Maddison, Gibbs White etc must be loads

There were people complaining that we were spending money on Gray from the Championship.

I'dve taken Zirkzee. And definitely Yoro as well. Look at Woolwich and Villa as well. Both are looking to improve their squads. Meanwhile we buying to improve our squad in 3 or 4 years time. That and we make Timo Werner one of the top 5 highest earning players in the club. How will we keep VDV, Romero, Udogie and Porro?

Buying 18 year olds, sending them out on loan for a year or two, and integrating them into the first team for another 2-3 years (Until they reach their peak), doesn't build a team. It's aim is to just boost coffers. We all know Levy won't pay the youngsters salaries other teams do, so he'll just ship them out. And 'The Rebuild' starts again.

Don't even mention that Levy has a 30 story hotel going up that will be able to aid the team financially in a few years. Look what new stadium charges has brought our team. Absolutely nothing.
yeh I'm looking....

they've signed nobody.

Aye. For a lot less than Brentford were previously quoting too.

I heard somewhere he’s only on about £45k per week, so a decent wage level for us too, assuming we offer him double his money to come here.
I still think it will be a reasonable chunk of change - around £50 million.

And I’d imagine his wage will be around £150k per week.

Just feels like our sort of opportunity.

I’ve warmed to the idea. I actually quite like him. He’s obviously a bit of a wally, but there’s a refreshing honesty about how he presents himself.

People still talking themselves into Ivan Toney. This fan base is properly brow-beaten by Levynomics.

Manifest Gyokeres or Openda. Refuse to even discuss Toney as being possible. This club has the money and the means to go and get their top targets, fans need to start expecting and accepting nothing less.

And let's be fair to the club, they just had the conviction to spend big money on Archie Gray at 18 from the Championship. It's probably even realistic to think they might now go and make the investment on our top targets.

I admit I’ve fully turned on Toney and wouldn’t mind if we end up signing him

Because of a penalty and funny video during the Euros?

Nothing has changed with Toney. He's still got strengths that suit direct, counter-attacking football and he's still never been a prolific goal scorer outside of penalties and FKs. He's a good premier league player in the right team but we just sold Harry Kane, we need to be expecting this club to go and get their top striker targets not waiting for the price to drop on Toney and signing him because it's cheaper.
