He did look a good player but injuries look like they've taken their toll in the last season or two. He isnt the worst, he has some ability and he might get some form back again but it all just feels like a waste of time and resources.

It's a squad depth option hg that's why we are doing it. Let's hope we get some first teamers In too

Cream generally rises to the top and competition for places is always good, when you're young and hungry you're gonna work hard to keep your place also I expect Gray and Bergvall to get plenty of mins this season and Devine to head out on another loan possibly.

I am on record as really wanting shot of Locelso but my goodness we need footballers not more bloody lungs on legs.

Have to say I think I'd agree. He just doesn't look technical enough to be able to break through to the first team, screams squad player. And the last thing we need is more box-to-box squad fillers.

He's a strong runner with the ball when he has space, with a very good finish. Good physicality too, and the creator is very positive on him. But for me when I look at these clips I don't see someone with the same level of technicality, spacial awareness, or game intelligence as guys like Bergvall or Gray. I'm not seeing someone who could turn into a Bellingham in a few years and be worth £100m, he just doesn't have the close control.

And then there's his injury record, is he even the same player now?

I think we will get David, at 25m it's a no brainier, if we got Eze it would finally show ambition. We need versatility at the back so Geerthuida would be good, if not I would go someone who's been linked before, Piero Hincapie... That would do me
 
People are so easily pleased, that's why this owner keeps getting away with it, doesn't surprise me though one bit.

Levy has the Tory protection plan in place "You think it's bad now, wait until 'insert name here' runs the club, grass isn't always greener" etc.
 
A lot of injuries for this guy recently and not someone who is going to set the world alight (eg Neto) as compensation. A sort of decentish signing if he can remain fit.

If it’s just to get Lo Celso off the books fine but seriously we need more than this this window. Our forward line needs fixing and soon.
 
For me to go into the season with balance.

Wide forward: can be Neto, can be Doué but needs to happen.

Striker: let’s make a decision if Richarlison is off then Gyokeres or at least Toney.

LCB/LW: need a Davies replacement

AM: cover/competition for Maddison, Eze the obvious but seems like it will be Ramsey.
