Been to the Pikey Dildobowl for today’s Diamond League. I can confirm it’s still the worst stadium in Christendom.

Absolute bowl of shit.
That has to be one of the worst stadium moves ever. Upton Park was the only thing that made the club memorable, they literally had nothing else going for them.

Even Levy wanted to knock down the olympic stadium and rebuilt the new stadium over it.

Our midfield has been a weak point ffs.
Maddison, Kulusevski

Bergvall, Sarr, Devine

Bentancur, Bissouma, Gray

Doesn't look too bad to me mate. Especially when compared to our godawful front line.

And if we do need improvements in midfield, the last position we need is yet another #8, fully six of those above players can play in that position. And that's assuming we move on Hojbjerg, Skipp, Lo Celso. Where does Ramsey even get a game?

The future never arrives, matey. People have been saying this sort of thing for the last 24 fucking years 😆

It's players for the here and now we're crying out for!
We’ve made plenty of progress in 24 years.

Oh look. I see you…

If the plan for Jacob Ramsey is as a Sarr/Gallagher type, fine. If the plan is to bring him in as a creative 10, I’m terrified.

You've included 2 players who only signed, our midfield was a massive issue last year and was usually imbalanced, Sarr and Bissouma do not add an awful lot in creativity and Devine won't play much IMO (maybe a loan again or some chances off the bench).

Ramsey is a better player than more than a few you've mentioned there IMO and certainly more experienced than half of them despite his injury history.

We're also swapping him for one of the biggest lemons of a signing ever who was barely ever fit or on the pitch in a Tottenham shirt if the deal materialises.

Have to say I think I'd agree. He just doesn't look technical enough to be able to break through to the first team, screams squad player. And the last thing we need is more box-to-box squad fillers.

Here is an analysis on him from a couple of years ago:

He's a strong runner with the ball when he has space, with a very good finish. Good physicality too, and the creator is very positive on him. But for me when I look at these clips I don't see someone with the same level of technicality, spacial awareness, or game intelligence as guys like Bergvall or Gray. I'm not seeing someone who could turn into a Bellingham in a few years and be worth £100m, he just doesn't have the close control.

And then there's his injury record, is he even the same player now?

How TF did a toe injury keep him out 119 days?!

I guess we'll see. I'm willing to bet Gray and Bergvall will be mainstays by the end of the season, and if Devine stays he'll get plenty of minutes in Europe. And will impress.

I'm not against selling Lo Celso, it's clear Ange doesn't like him. My issue is replacing him with a player we don't really need. Just take the money and put it into the striker/winger fund.
