60-70m seems about right to me. I really think he's a great player- versatile too. I'd love if we could buy him but 90m is just too much- City are selling him for a reason- he's not as good as Haaland in their eyes. 60m with bonuses would be very fair.

At that price is a lot I agree but he's a better option than Gyokeres, if we were to ever spend that kind of money on a striker that is..

Just curious how much do we owe for stadium? Bit of a noose round our neck. Want that paid off ASAP ideally unless a new owner comes in and pays it off.

Interest only payments at the moment and average interest rate fixed at circa 3% (despite interest rates of a multiple of that) so its diddly squat in the grand scheme of things.

We make loads more money from having it than we pay interest for it.

You used the expression of 'noose round are necks' rather than goose laying golden eggs' which is a more accurate description of the stadium

I don't really get any of the flak from some of the other users. You want young? Talented? Proven? A winner? Pretty much an absolute can't-miss for me- I agree. Sadly I can't really see us doing it, even though we really should. Guy could even cover the wing positions too.

Having Alvarez might also help us in getting Romero to sign an extension, and keeping him happy here.
