If you really want my opinion who the club should be targeting it's Solanke as he's literally the perfect fit but £60m though...plus this fanbase is gonna be pissed off if we sign him because he's not a fancy name.

It's not about a fancy name, it's about the right fit/profile of player that we need.
If that means we go big then fine, but if a bargain is found then fine also.
 
Some positive news...

If there is a rebirth of Spence, we are one defender away from having solid depth there.

Romero / Dragusin / VDV / Phillips / Udogie / Porro / Spence / Davies + one left sided. Pretty decent that.

We beat Villa 4-0 so we're better than them.
But Fulham beat us 4-0 but they're not better than us.

I’d take Solanke over Toney
 
I’d take Toney plus David for Richardson - think we could get a done for similar money. David could do it at Prem level but if he needs time to adjust then Toney will hopefully be netting.

A straight Toney for sticky swap isn’t good enough.

Toney and Richy is just too much shithousery

Toney and David is 70m +. May as well just go get Gyokeres or Openda from the top of the list

Richarlison basically went the whole of the 22/23 season without scoring. And then spent large portions of the 23/24 season unavailable.
I think we can only judge Toney on how he performs for us.
He could find he scores a bucketload with more service. Or he could find teams defend more rigidly against Spurs than Brentford and he hasn't got a clue.
