At least it's wasting someone else's money for the season.
Signing him, swapping Lamela for him, efforts to try and find him loans because he was always too light etc.
His signing has been a complete waste of resources and yet again, he's done fuck all for Tottenham.

But his contract does expire next summer so we seem to have more or less just put the ball in his corner.

Paratici did improve our squad no doubt but Gil and Emerson were bad buys. I could half understand it if they were 10/15m punts but Gil was 20m plus lamela and Emerson was 25m

look at the reaction of a LOT of posters after that game against Palace. Lots were sure he was going to turn into some sort of monster player despite the eye test telling us he was absolute donkey piss and a championship player at absolute best (I'm not even sure he was that).
