If you're gonna be ruthless with Richy, you gotta act likewise with Bissouma...he too has been with us for 2 ish years and bar a 10-game purple patch, he's done sweet fuck all. At least with Richy it's (mainly) to do with injuries.

And they ain't the only ones needing a big kick up the arse. Maddison had so many poor games. Kulu's form was way too inconsistent...though at least he kept working hard. Udogie doesn't get a pass cause of his age...had some great games but was also guilty of not giving it his all on more than one occasions. Even the Head Coach deserves some stick.
Bissouma really hasn't lived up to the hype which is a real shame.

Cause they are the best run clubs in the league, and fellow big six clubs, which makes them a good barometer.

Why do we need to act with urgency, and they don't? If buying players quicker makes you a better side, surely Liverpool and Woolwich would use this secret knowledge to surpass City, why are they resting on their laurels?
I’m going to assume by these replies that you’re being facetious and/or on a wind up, but in the scary event you’re being serious, I’ve already explained why we need to act differently in the window to the three mentioned clubs.

City, Liverpool and Woolwich are all in a completely different place to us as football clubs. Comparing us to them at the moment is laughable.

The top 6 clubs most comparable to us currently are United and Chelsea, both of who have been as if not more active than us in the market and appear to be targeting players on a different level to us.

At the end of last season, the talk was about improvement. football London have named the team they expect to line up against Leicester
Vic, Porro. Romero, van der Ven, Udogie
Biss, Sarr, Maddison
Kula, Richie, Son
Every one of them were here last season. So where is the improvement. The new kids may well break into the side later in the season and we may get players in later in August but I was expecting at least 1 new player to start the first match. Football London normally have a good idea of selection.
Spot on.

But then the disappointment is only if you believe we are a club that wants to win things.
When you accept that the board doesn't share that view and won't do what is necessary, it is easier to digest.

Our ceiling is 4th with that front line.

If other Premier League teams were making major moves I would feel discouraged. But, that isn't the case, and I don't see players like Eze who have been discussed as major targets signing elsewhere. When the team gets back, things will start picking up. It is frustrating, but it is not entirely unexpected.
Woolwich have strengthened the one weakish area of their defence after having the best defensive record last season (with a player most of us would have loved at Spurs).

United have beaten RM to one of the best CB prospects in the world and added a promising CF.

It has been a slow window but we finished 5th. Surely the ambition every window has to be making up ground on those ahead of you? So far we are showing no signs of that.

And if the rumours of adding only 1 attacker are true then we definitely won't be taking any major leaps.

He's asking that question of you because you seem to have a problem with any fan who wants the club to act as they should given the revenue that we earn which is like a club that wants to win things now and in the future.

There's no problem from my side at all, not sure what gives you that impression? I'm allowed to disagree just as much as they're allowed to state their opinion...you are aware of how a forum works aren't you?
