How Dry should our Powder be?

Just a reminder that for EL games we can only have a maximum of 21 non CT players in the squad.
Players under 21 that have not been at the club for 2 years have to be included in the EL squad.
Our 3 CT players are Skipp, Austin and Whiteman.

Assuming Royal, Reguillon and Lo Celso leave and Veliz and Phillips are loaned we 15 HG and 6 Association players totalling 21.
So additional players need to go before before we can add to the squad.
I wonder if Ange may gamble on leaving Forster out?
Gallagher's name has cropped up again so IMO if he comes then Biss goes.
A new winger replaces Solomon.
And a new defender to replace Spence.
Why replace Spence? With who and how much? Why should bias go for Gallagher?

We could easily line up against Leicester with the same team that started the Sheffield United game. At this point in time I’m thinking it more likely than not.

That would be a 0/10 window not to improve the first XI at all by that game. But it’s felt similar to a 2018 window in terms of disappointment since day one.
But on 2018 think we just finished 2nd and had prime Kane, dele, Erickson , Toby, vert, son was good get. Much better team than what we have now.

I think Ange thinks we need a press monster of sorts in the 8 position? Apart from Sarr who else at this point can do this for us?
I don’t particularly rate Gallagher but I do understand why Ange would want him or someone like him
Would help if the forwards pressed. Cannot believe we’d spend £40M plus on someone who can press. We need players with some magic like eze and Neto not bloody cart horses. We are supposed to be a football team. Who do city have like that? They all bloody work hard to win the ball back.

Eze and Neto would do nicely:

Son -- Richy -- Neto
(Werner) ---- (Kulu) --- (Johnson)
Eze ---- Bentancur
(Maddison) -- (Sarr/Bergvall)
Gray
(Biss)
Devine, Moore and Lankshear providing further depth until January at least.

Solomon, GLC, Skipp moved on.

Nov is my bet

Actually wouldn’t be surprised if he walks before the season starts when he gets properly Levy’d and doesn’t have a single new signing (who isn’t a teenager purchased as a speculative investment)
May be October and there are reasons why. 1. He has not fixed our defencive setup at all, we are still wide open 2. Don’t think we have a set piece coach, 3. Transfer window he said forward line needed improving I’d say say we have gone backwards bar the youngsters. 4. Loan for Werner when it wasn’t needed to be done that early.

Also more games twice a week. Can Ange organise the team and utilise the squad?

From January we were committed to signing Bergvall. It's not like we could just decide the day before his 18th Bday not to send his club the 8m. The deal was done in January. Don't complicate things. The deal happens and is counted when the deal is announced and the players takes pictures in Spurs kit.
That actually isn't true, he was meeting with Xavi on 30th January and everyone was fully expecting him to sign for Barcelona. We sent over a proposal on 31st January but Bergvall didn't make his decision until the evening of the 1st Feb.

Not that any of it matters anyway.

I'm surprised to see that, I always heard he wanted to stay but Chelsea were forcing him out.

Who knows, it might just be spin from the club to make themselves look good.
I imagine when a club is handing out 6 year contracts to every new signing, as club captain and Chelsea fan, a 3 year offer is a bit of an insult and says "we still want to sell you, we just don't want you going on a free".
