Starks/Totti on triple time today

The ENIC PR machine is about to go into overdrive

I hope ol' shadyfixx have got their plimsolls ready

Ok you either don’t understand the point I’m making or you’re just being sarcastic because you’ve got no argument

I hope it’s the second of those

You entertain me that's all.

Fitting username, I guess

its not because of the stadium - it’s because we are in the Europa league and we’re not chucking oil money at players.

The stadium helps as an attraction and ability to sustain our players on competitive money - what it will never do is make us beat the elite clubs to an established player. Only a sustained track record of success can make that happen.
And without buying the odd ready made top quality player that success will continue to elude us. As for Europa we didnt take advantage all those years we were in the champions league either, even as recently as 2 years ago.

I presume our resident take a bullet for ENIC boys are still claiming Levy has removed himself from all transfers and it’s nothing to do with him. Other than when they want to spin it that he stepped in and saved the day like Porro, which in reality means, he would not let his employees pay the rate asked but will agree it supposedly himself . Which kind of nukes the he has no involvement narrative , his fingerprints seem all over this window .

Why wouldn’t he? Because you say so?
Maybe it’s because he has a contract that runs through 2028 and his team owners have more money than God and aren’t generally inclined to strengthen their domestic rivals.
Add to that his previous club have a sell-on and you’re talking close to 200m if they even entertain the idea. He would have to go on strike to force a sale which I suspect he wouldn’t consider for an arguably sideways transfer.

I don’t like turning things into an ENIC off, it gets tiresome

I just hate seeing the wool pulled over so many peoples eyes

People that will continue to spend thousands a season on this club and then say that it’s unrealistic to pay 100 million for a player

I want to slap it out of them

Fine but thinking that Isak is gonna waltz into Spurs just because we have the highest revenues and a great stadium or whatever doesn't really make sense.
