Unfortunately quite a lot of people had heard of Eze when he moved from QPR to Crystal Palace. There were a fair number of people on here advocating his transfer to us back then as a great up and coming prospect.
This is just not true. I know that there were plenty of people here wanting to sign him when he was with QPR. I can't be bothered to go back and find those posts, but they were definitely here.
The youngsters will get plenty of minutes in Europe. We have the money, we should spend it, what's the point of letting it sit in the bank.
