Ange will not change. These are his tactics, it's his philosophy to play gung ho football. Problem is that it's so obvious and one dimensional and everyone now knows how to play against us. We are too predictable and it's going to cost him his job but he doesnt seem to care
 
Just a little reminder that this is a pre season game and means fuck all. 4 guaranteed starters plus probably another 2 to come in makes us a million times better. Calm the fuck down. Its not been good but if this game gets you worked up then you have issues 🤣🤣

Glad we signed him, he'll be a good player but the levels of hype for him, Bergvall and some of the others from the likes of Ally Gold and the usual suspects on here has been absurd. Not fair on the players either with that level of expectation, they'll breakthrough when they're ready. At the moment i think they're being used as a distraction from another abysmal window, to date anyway.

He was never fully ready for the step up instantly, time required of course.... but he is further behind than thought ...

Double sessions every day, game just three days ago, sweltering heat. We look every bit as knackered as you'd expect. Bayern arrived two days ago.

Main negative for me is that midfield. Gray again really struggling as the 6. It shows how much we really really need Bissouma to be on it this season. Sarr is actually playing well, but he's having to cover the whole midfield. Maddison, rubbish. A defensive liability.

Spence had a rough start but thought he ended strong, out of position too.

Also think it's clear how important both Romero and Van De Ven are when it comes to building out from the back..
