Here we go nothing on Toney and Eze because of the wee badly one again. Yet we are linked with someone else’s garbage eg McTominay and cheapskate will no doubt buy him. Just over 60 yrs I have supported and adored this team and it’s the same as usually happens 4th, 5th or 6th will do whereas the Gurns are going for it!
Pitiful leadership from Levy no commitment but still earns millions in bonus.

Levy seems to always think he can beat the system. I fear for this season if we don't sign at least one elite forward
The front office seems more sorted out than in the past. There appears to be a plan and an understanding of the type player they want to bring on. Just because there haven't been as many signings as needed doesn't mean there won't be more in the next two weeks. My guess is there's a lynch pin transfer they haven't come to closure on and that's holding up other signings. Still a big question of whether they can move move Richarlison and bring in Eze. Once either of those two happens I think you get the rest.

Solanke for 65mil is mental.

The guys is 27 years old in a month, so you are getting maybe 4 years of a slightly above average striker for 65mil before some inevitable decline...

Kane is 31, doesn't rely on pace and look at that decline we are seeing...

If this is Lange cooking the guy should get back to the Wetherspoons kitchen.

FYI I rate Solanke, just a mad deal if that is the deal.

4 years?

Seems like the perfect development time for a certain Sir William of Lankshear.

Yeah...you know I'm not a massive fan of the way we play right? I'm not sure it's doing our centerbacks especially VDV any favours. I'm desperately hoping he tweaks it as he did against City. This ain't the SPL ( queue the zombie hoards of celtic fans)....
I'm not a fan of what it's doing to Mickey's hamstrings either, but it is the way we play, it's up to Ange to decide it, and up to the club to provide him with the tools he needs.

65M for Dom Solanke....

I agree it’s too much but the options are so limited.

What would you be happy paying, 40?

To be fair I think Solanke is the kind of player that can be effective even with a slight loss of pace. He's a unit and he has an engine.

Importantly he doesn’t have anywhere near the mileage on him that most forwards his age do.

With Kane it isn’t just his speed it’s his lack of explosiveness due to the back injury. I think people are seriously overreacting to Kane’s euros anyway, from August-April he was the best striker in the world.

I think we are crazy. I don't think it makes sense to pay that and not try for Oshimen. No I don't think he's perfect either but he's two years younger and I've seen him shred prime VVD. I think with a stable less volatile environment he'd get back to near that level. Napoli get the 65 plus Kulusevski then play the add ons game.

We have a lot of youth in the side, there's nothing wrong about adding a player in his prime to balance it.

Where the fuck are you pulling this from?
