A riot! Bit over the top. Our fans are more than happy with a league cup every 25 years mate. We are one of the softest fans with such a low bar considering the size of us. We already are cool with top 4 at best next season & finishing behind our bitter rivals. Leaving them to fight for things like titles whilst we say how lucky we are not to be doing a leeds.
Be honest mate? Scrape 4th, no silverware & let Woolwich battle it out with city for the title whilst we just pray city save us. Pretty much a normal season for us now. No riots the last 2 seasons. In fact you’re a melt if you aren’t happy with that outcome!
Don’t t forget we signed no one & the few fans who moaned about it got abuse from the majority of fans. We accepted & In fact justified signing no one & then acted shocked when it all went wrong. Then blamed the manager who wasn’t backed.
& 50m isn’t spending big these days. We never sign top players who you know will take us to the next level. Then we act shocked when we win nothing again & scratch our heads before then telling ourselves it could be worse.
Levy could not give himself bonuses when we have a shit season & go through 3 managers. He can not be so bad at manager selections. He could have a better plan in place for continuity when we change managers so we don’t have such a big rebuild. He could not let the team & squad go so stale so we need years of rebuilding. He could have a better scouting & youth development operation,
He could be more ambitious & try to really win things & support & back world class players like kane rather than settle for the odd top 4 & then wonder why they want to leave.
Our fans then back our chairman over our world class too goalscorer. If that was United ur Liverpool there would be a riot! We just turn on our player & back the chairman over legends on the pitch.
He could not want us to being playing European super league football in east London. He could not treat staff like shit during pandemics, he could not treat fans like shit with pricing & just rip them off left, right & centre . Not send us to Australia at the end of a long season before the euros just for more profit!
He could prioritise winning on the pitch over real estate & making more profit. He could not interfere with the football side so much & get in the way & then fall out with pretty much every manager. He could step down for a chairman who is more competent & can do better than a league cup every 25 years.

I'd be tempted this season to go with all the youth we really think could make it. Moore, Gray and Bergvall yes. Just play them in the First XI and build towards next season. But FFS also get the chequebook out in the next few weeks.

I think Ange rates Kulu and BJ - seems like he’s unsure on the rest. He’ll try offload Solomon and I’d say Werner is just here for the season.
