Is that the case or are you just creating imaginary scenarios?

Cause I am bit cautious about Solanke and I am straight up against signing Neto. He is 1/3-available-player that is rumored to cost 60 mil. He is not even close to being in Mbappe bracket, but math suggests that paying 60 mil for player that is available for so little suggests that if he would be fully fit he'd be worth 180 mEUR ....

On the other hand, I'd be more optimistic for Eze and Gyorkes. Latter one is bit more unknown, but Solanke is known but not too impressive in my view. I've never been amazed by his performances when I've watched him play.
Considering there's a lot of resistence to the Solanke signing, and very few people vocally agains the Neto signing, a decent amount of people probably fall there.

What's really strange to me is that the same people who slag off Solanke seem to want Neto, a player who's never had a more impressive season than Solanke had last year, and is injury prone as well. I wonder if they'd be treating him the same if he was called Pete Net?

It’s nothing to do with name. Neto is just a more exciting profile of player. He’s a tricky, direct winger who entertains. People can see his drawbacks but also that his ceiling is very high if he can move past injuries.

It’s obvious from the differing reports from the journalists that no one has a clue what’s going on with Solanke.

POK said yesterday that Bournemouth have been told to keep quiet about the Solanke deal, so if it happens we’ll only know once it’s done

Well sign Solanke after losing our first 2 games when in which we won’t be able to score because we won’t be able to break down their defences despite having 80% possession.

Brajan Gruda looks like he could be a good Neto alternative. I do think Neto would be class for the games he'd be available though tbh. Don't really have a clear ST option in mind who's going under the radar. Max Beier looks fun but probably a floater along the front three and apparently off to Dortmund. I'd be tempted to stick with Rich/ Son /Kulu /Lankshear, sort out other positions and wait for the right centre forward. Solanke had a good season but I don't see us winning much with 110m tied up in a front three ft. Solanke and Johnson.

I'm getting to the point where I would celebrate signing Antonio from the Spammers.

I'm not there yet.
