With Neto out of the picture he would be my first choice for a PL-proven wide player. He’s tenacious and has quality, underrated player.
I still think we need an Eze-type to challenge Maddison though, I still don’t think we have enough reliable quality in attacking midfield.

Clubs should just refuse to buy their cast offs, it won’t happen but they would be truly fucked if in 2/3 years time they still have the squad they have now with all those players on 8 year contracts
We play similar to Iraola so even if he’s just a system player it should be fine.
Agreed we need a wide forward and an AM to compete with Maddison ideally. However a wide forward in the Neto type style is priority.

Let's not forget last season their wage bill increased by the largest in actual terms and % terms in the European top 5 leagues (2nd highest in the PL now). Their revenues have declined and they don't have CL football yet again or a front-of-shirt sponsor and have added to the wage bill by adding a further 100 players this window.
This is why you don’t spend £90m on Kulusevski and Johnson in one window by the way. Because it leaves you in situations like this.
