Why bother posting 'he'll be 27' after I post he's 26 ?
It makes me laugh the mental gymnastics we see some on here going through, just to have a vehicle for a moan.

A few short weeks ago, there was a spate of piss taking on here that we were filling up a kindergarten. Now we buy a player in his prime, we get the "he's 27 in a few weeks, he doesn't have the development potential" trotted out. We've had posters going back to when he was 16 in an effort to knock his time in the PL.

Go back to every previous window and you'll see a plethora of moans that we only buy development players and none in their prime. When we actually do it, the moan switches to "sell on ability," or "development potential."

Basically, we have batshit mental posters who, when it comes to the suitability of players, don't know their arse from their elbow.

Richarlison was definitely brought in to replace Kane since we knew he was leaving, but what I'm saying is that Solanke was brought in to replace Richarlison as our starting striker.
Well we'll agree to disagree on the Kane Replacement issue. I'm hoping Solanke has been signed to compete/rotate/compliment Richarlison. Not replace him. That would be very short sighted and basically begging for trouble.

Ange said he didn’t know where the Richy exit talk was coming from and ‘certainly not from him’ it’s about adding to the squad. These were his exact words

Anyone who thinks Neto is not a class player is deluding themselves especially thinking he is not good enough or what we need in a wide player. He is had and shoulders far better than any of the wide men we have and his skills would got the fans out of their seats. A good old spurs type player with lots of skills. Ah well it Werner and Johnson it is then…
In a word, bollox.

I posted earlier his end product numbers against our own wide players and Chiesa, and at best he's on a par with them. He's injury prone, culminating in the scintillating return of 146 games, for club and country, over the last 5 years.

So less end product, with more time spent on a treatment table than on grass.

In a list of wingers that could do a job for us, he's at the bottom. Johnson, who you love to dig out, has better return than him over a shorter amount of game time.

I couldn't give a toss how good he looks taking his man on, a winger is there purely to provide end product, goals and assists. Neto has consistently proven that he doesn't have that any better than what we already have.

Agreed! It's why I never engage with their posts. There is no point, and engaging just encourages them to rinse and repeat the same tiresome horseshit.
