We'll be the gatekeepers of the season. We'll tear apart every shit side, but the moment we will face a decent side our weaknesses will be exploited. I'm extremely annoyed that our set piece problems have not been addressed at all, and also the fact that we have conceded the same goal 2 weeks in a row. Pre-season is the time when you identify and fix your problems, and it looks like we've wasted it this season...

If we're honest with ourselves, man for man, we have perhaps two players that would get into their team.

I can take losing to Bayern, friendly or not. But it's the manner of the goals we concede and the lack of any sort of plan b that is so alarming.

Our tracking of runners, particularly in MF, is fucking shocking at times. It feels undisciplined.

We’re short of players but we’ve looked the same team that ended last season all through pre-season for me.

Ps as I’ve been debating all day on here, our wide players aren’t good enough.

If there are no short passing options then you kick it long. There is no way that Ange is so militant about building up from the back that he tells Vic to pass the ball to the opponent if he can’t find a white shirt.

Vicario has to understand that it’s ok to just punt it when it’s an emergency. You are not going get dropped for Brandon Austin because you kicked the ball long when under huge pressure.

Don’t fucking play it then. It’s not on to play sometimes. He’s actually missed the midfield and hit the front players a few times. That’s a better option rather than lose a goal. No matter what you are told to do when you are on the pitch you find another way if it’s not working.
 
So, if I was to force positivity, my hope is that the players are just conserving energy and treating this as an exhibition.

Son is barely running. There’s no press. We’re just going through the motions.
 
Think we need to get in a lb this window, Spence has been okay on the ball but he's all at sea defensively on the left

Son and Johnson are leaving the fullbacks exposed too, I put this down to the friendly status of the game
 
For the love of me I don’t understand why the keeper would pass to a player with another on his tailpipe. This keeper has no confidence in this style of play.
