Should be able to do that more often this season. Solanke is a genuine target man. No point sending it long to Son, it'll come back straight away. And Richi is poor at holding it up as well.

Not going to harp on individual errors because they happen and they win and lose games. Hopefully, the opposition makes more than we do over the course of the season. My biggest concerns are the systemic issues:
1. Poor zonal defense at set pieces. A weakness last year and no discernible improvement so far.
2. The acres of space given to opposition wingers (or midfielders) once our initial press is broken. A weakness last year and no discernible improvement so far.
3. The play-out-of-defense-at-all-costs strategy , particularly the ball to a marked player who plays a square ball to the full back. This has become so predictable and I don’t know that it creates any more space for the full back than a direct ball from the goal keeper.
We give up FAR too many goals despite supposedly having superior players in these (defensive) positions and it’s nothing signing a 1v1 winger is going to solve.

PC World ceased to exist a long time ago, I moved from there to Currys and then left them around 7 years ago. You need better sources.

It's very odd. Someone said 'I can't get people judging us off a freindly' as if we just stop learning from what we see depending on the opposition .
We have no convincing cover for our GK, no viable natural LB alternatives to a lad whose had a horrible injury, and the issues that were manifest back end of last season ( set piece weaknesses, ball progression problems, press timing and coherence, ) let me be clear because it seems some people can't do nuance. I LIKE ANGE POSTECOGLOU, unlike some of his cult like supporters I have met him personally. He is lovely and I'm desperate for him to be successful. He is the first coach since Keith and Poch I've liked. But I'm not going to pretend that I can't see issues, I was exactly they same under Jose( who I loathed) when we were top.
The activity should involve acquiring a set piece coach or else we're fucked.
Honestly throughout the first half I thought the defence were playing a mixture of eye spy and musical statues. My local towns U9's girls team would of had them for tea ffs!
For me thats disappointing. Under poch top 4 was a gimme. Weve gone backwards since he left imo.
No more wingers i hope.
