Player Yves Bissouma

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m not as susceptible to moral outrage about other peoples lives.

I’m interested in how they act when they are at work, training, wearing Spurs kit and playing. If they don’t hurt other people outside work and still perform when they are at work, there’s no need for me to be outraged by another human living their lives.
Whilst I'd say that's fair to apply to everyday people, someone in the public eye sets an example.

Children are impressionable, especially to footballers. That's why we should hold them to a higher standard.

Like I said, you hold our players to a lower standard than I and many others do, and that’s ok. You do you.

*pats head*

I don’t hold them to any standard other than not hurting other people when they aren’t working and performing well when they are working.

You seem completely bought into being part of the moral judgement police for people you have never met but whatever, let’s agree to disagree. I’ve been told my moral compass is off on here before so maybe I’m wrong.

Children are their parents responsibility not Bissouma’s.

We had Gazza at this club remember. Was he a role model? Cantona at UTD?
Pretty sure Cantona was reprimanded substantially for his most brutal action. Even if many of us actually understood the reaction.

Yes, children are ultimately their parents responsibility but as you'll no doubt have seen with the recent youth actions in the riots, you can't control them all the time. We aren't our children's role models, footballers, wrestlers, pop stars and so on are. They are their heroes.

Parents work, run a house. Moan at strangers on Tottenham forums. They aren't sitting watching what their children are doing all the time. Did you always do what your parents expected? Did you never like anyone a little bit rebellious?

I grew up with people like rappers, Bob Marley and Gazza as my role models.

I’m not a gun carrying, weed smoking, wife beater.

(Although I’d credit Bob for the start of my distrust for government and there’s nothing wrong with smoking weed)

There's everything wrong with smoking weed if you drive whilst doing it, as seemingly a huge proportion of people do.

I'm pretty sure that the police and sports authorities also would take a different view.

At the end of the day he's a privileged individual who should know better. If you don't think it's a problem then you do you.

I'll think he's a fucking idiot who has let himself, his employer and his fans down. Not for the first time.

Looked like a proper PLAYA before the Luton game and that inexplicable dive

Been shit ever since, didnt he get a bad form of Covid or something.... now this... yeah, its fair to say we still need that box to box player

Am I missing something but what’s the big fucking deal about laughing gas? It’s not a crack pipe.

It’s a bit daft and immature, but it’s not a hanging offence.

If he delivers on the pitch i don’t really care about this sort of nonsense off it.
He's a friggin professional football player paid extremely handsomely by Tottenham Hotspur. His contract with the club is clear: no stupid shit.

Guy has a brain the size of a chickpea. Been here two and a bit years, been awful for most of it. That red vs Luton shoulda been enough to show how much of an idiotic moron he is.

I hope he gets a big fine and stays home for a while. Or better, sell the twat to the first bidder.
